Donbas Workhorses: Ukrainian UAZ-452 & UAZ-469

These are Zvezda’s UAZ-452 and Trumpeter’s UAZ-469, both finished with DEF Model wheels and markings from the Star Decals Azov decal set. Both vehicles represent AZOV-used softskins from the war in Donbas.

The UAZ-452 was a fun little build, although the body fit was not the greatest and needed some cleanup to get everything aligned properly. The UAZ-469 represents a former Border Service commandeered and spray-painted in camouflage, giving it the rough, field-applied look seen on many wartime vehicles.

That is a great looking duo there Alex. You have really done a great job on the mottled camouflage on both with a nice bit of weathering added to them as well.

Well done, I really like how both turned out. Are they going into a diorama?

@Karl187 thank you! I Enjoyed trying to replicate the spray painted camo, was a fun airbrushing challenge.

@Maki thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately I am not really a diorama maker.

@Tank_1812 Thanks Ryan!

Alex those are two excellent little soft skins you’ve done there, really love the beat up finish you’ve applied to them.
