Picked this one up last weekend, not much done.
someone from my club is doing the henschel one, he did had some some issues with the rear wheel.
Nice.Come with molded,or must you add it?
I added them. Still need to work on the other side.
Spielberger says 92 for the real tank. I would not automatically assume this is also correct for a model, though.
Thanks.
At least I can use that number, and give or take 3 or 4 links I might hit the correct one for the Model.
I think I’d assemble 90 first myself, putting them on the model in such a way that the gap is on the underside, and then fill that before the glue sets. The hanging sections between sprocket and first roadwheel, and between last roadwheel and idler can likely take up the slack.
Given my experience, the number on the instruction manual is never the real number of track links, or rather it never gives realistic sag, so best is to do a run that is about 4 links short, fit it, and then fill in the gap with as many links as needed.
Thanks ! I’ll give it a try
I’ve got that kit too, I’m following your build to pick up some tips, Saludos desde Yucatán…¡
I’m a little behind on this one sorry.
I’ll pick it up in a couple of weeks
I found the same with their Panther G kit. See here for better measurements.
