Then you have to use the dutch smoke grenade launcher, they’re different to the German ones!
I know. There are more differences than that, which is why I need a good excuse to get all the stuff ![]()
I got lucky a few years ago and managed to get the Revell Leopard 2A4 in 1.35th which has the Netherlands fittings.A rare kit these days and one ive been after for a considerable time.
Richard
Legend used to have a conversion for a Dutch 2A6 which proved useful for a 2A4 too.

If all else fails, the Hobby Boss 2A6 NL could be used as a donor for many parts. The base tank itself is a bit crap, but the country specific parts in that series are pretty good.
The Revell kit isn’t too bad; obviously containing parts for German or Dutch versions - in fact I poached the smoke dischargers for my Dutch MBT 70:
How sad. We use the term “got lucky” to mean we found a plastic model!
Getting old…
Hey they make little blue pills for that…
Yes they say little things please little minds.
Well i think it looks like a little ol Leopard 2 build could be worth doing when conveniant guys.Id be happy to join in with my Italeri 2A4.Adding parts from the Revell A6 sounds a great idea for Netherlands version.I cannot seem to get too enthused about A5 onwards.Seem to prefer A4s and other nations versions.Im sure Brian aka @BootsDMS can be persuaded to join in.

Richard, do you mean this kit?
During the Leopard 2 Campaign 2019/2020 in the old Kitmaker I built this Ellinikós Stratós
version out of the kit. Today I would paint the tracks different/better …
I was clever enough to buy 2 of these kits back then, so I still have one here. Not sure if I would build a Nederlandse Landmacht
or Österreichisches Bundesheer
with it when the times come. But it would be more or less the same.
Koninklijke Landmacht ![]()
Of course you’re right, Jakko! I know it but had a mental blackout for a moment, sorry. ![]()
Yes that is indeed the kit i have stashed in the cupboard stash.Mine will be Netherlands one for sure.
