Every year that NYE party dilemma

So true. Drank lots of beer and went to bed at 2am, thankfully not hung over. Dogs were all over me at their usual 6am. Ugh

I got a nap during the Devils game, saw the drop, eyes closed at 12:02 and slept in til 7. My 12 lb alarm clock ensured there was no more snoozing. :joy_cat:

We had a large gathering to watch the World Juniors game. Canada lost 4-1 to the US, however this didn’t hamper our celebrations.

The US has a really good team, they are fast and skilled, dominated face-offs and kept Canada on the perimeter. Canada can’t keep out of the box, taking selfish penalties in the offence zone. Canadian coach is not my choice, his decisions boggle my mind.

Canada always finds a way to get to the finals in every tournament it seems. The competition is stuff, lots of great teams out there.

My Rangers could use some of these kids- players who play with heart and balls and don’t mutiny against their organization. Rant over
