The Nellis Aggressors; they’re used during the “Red Flag” joint training exercises because the F-5 could mimic the flight performance of the MiG-21; eventually, the USAF as well as the US Navy added the F-16 Viper and F/A-18 Hornets to the Aggressor squadron, because it could mimic the flight characteristics of the MiG-29 and Su-35.
