F/A-18A Blue Angels question

I have a question on an upcoming build for an F/A-18A Blue Angels plane. I did a couple years ago and have noticed that my landing gear doors may be wrong, I always painted the exterior of the door blue and the interior white. I am now seeing that the doors are blue inside and out? I just saw a modelers beautiful Kinectic Blue Angels Hornet done with blue inside and out. OR were some done white inside and blue outside and if so why? And I thought the B-24 was a “consolidated mess”!!!

Here is one of many I am noticing. I am interested in F/A-18A only, thanks.

The Blues while fleet planes, they operate by different rules. I would go blue and blue for the BA, white for any other unit. I will ask around to confirm.

The exception is the door attached to this strut. The inside is white on the A-4 and F/A-18’s.

All the photos I personally took at different air shows show blue inside and outside on the main LG.

Thanks for the answers, it made sense as there are also NO RED EDGES on the doors. Now to try and decipher out the shadowy images for my F-4J Blue Angels build.
