Hello shipmates, I would like to paint my PRE Dec 7 Arizona in Measure 1 5D. I see the fresh out of the can 5D is nearly black. I understand that the real stuff faded quickly. Would say Tamiya German Panzer Grey dunklegrau be a good representation of faded 5D?
Just mix white paint with the 5D paint until you get the fade you want, 18 - 20 % white should get you the results you want.
