I 've found sites with info on aircraft by S/N , US and for Spitfires. Is there one for ME-109s? Looking for WkN. 4964. Was S9+DR with 7/ ZG-1 , shot down Aug. 31, 42. near El Alamein. (Pilot: Uffz. Hans Sennholz ) Information I’ve seen lists it as an E-7 but looks like it had the E-1/3 type spinner, not the faired over , later type. (though there is a photo that might show the later type spinner but the angle and a prop blade in the way make it debatable.)
