Interesting figure. I’d like to see a rear shot of the radio equipment. I’m at a bit of a loss to identify it. Any offers?

I went a tad down the German field radio rabbit hole recently. Working on a Stalingrad factory dio and wanted to understand which receivers they’d have had toward the frontline and at the very front of the line.

I believe this is one oif the late war “FeldFunks” which we portable receivers for frontline ops and observers in 43, 44, 45. This may be the FeldFu B or B1. I’m anything but an expert, but it does have the antenna protruding out from the middle of the unit (on the top).

I really really like this website for studying ww2 German radios.

Wow that’s quite a lot of radios. Didn’t realize they had so many.
