Hi.I’m new to the group. Here are the two builds I’m working on by way of a introduction.
Welcome along to the forum Dave!
Welcome Dave.
Welcome!
Tell us about your plans and some details when you can.
BTW- I’m doing a 1/100 Soviet T-35 Landship. Same turrets below the main gun pedestal.
Hull
Scribed the skirts, and assembled the hull. Simple, Zvezda kit, good detail except the running gear is sort of flat. I need to replace the 47mm barrel on one of the satellite turrets. UGH!
Welcome. Looking forward to seeing more of your work.
Welcome Dave! A good start with lots more to come I’m sure.
Have to ask though, what’s the significance of the animal skull in your workspace?
Welcome aboard Dave.
Nice.I also have one of these ( Revell) in my ‘Shed of Shame’ I lost a few parts to the carpet monster and it demotivated me.I should try scratch building replacements as it is a pretty awesome afv.
It’s a 3D printed cat skull that I’m painting for a friend .He has a AI cat robot show that he is touring the world with.
Just realised, it’s not a Revell , it’s by Hobbyboss, I should have got the Zevsda kit as I like the removable side armour option , also I suspect the Zevsda will be more accurate.
Anyway seeing yours has inspired me to have a go at completing it.
Welcome aboard!
does it leave hairs all over your paintjobs as well?
This is in 1/100: what a hoot. I’ll post a catch up once I get a gun barrel repaired. That turret will need a little tiny drill, and a piece of wire. UGH!
It’s mainly all the dust from the woodburner I have to worry about.
I used to have a couple of cats ( old age did for them) and indeed I would often find cat fur / hair on models…and occasionally a whole cat.
Welcome aboard Dave. Hope to see more of your work.
Welcome to the forum Dave!
Welcome, Dave. Nice work!
Greetings.
A bit more done to the K51 .Turret is dry fitted, hence the toothpick keeping RWS in place .
The fit of this Amusing Hobby (daft name) is very good, but the tracks are horrible , no way do they not need glue.
T25 is ready for painting. It will need a fair bit of mud to hide my poor track construction skills.
