Do these fit together well (around the intakes)? I couldn’t get my Monogram or Academy F-14s to fit together.

While some of the early releases of the 1/48 Hasegawa F-14 had fit problems with the intake trunks/engine fairings, Hasegawa has altered the tooling to remedy that problem.

I don’t have first hand experience with the 1/48 Hawegawa kit. I did build the 1/48 Academy Tomcat and it was an absolutely horrible kit in my experience. The Monogram kit was also pretty lacking as well
