Wow! That printed spent shell cage is almost beyond description! Maybe I’ll look into this Mobelwagen kit… and this AM set! I wonder if the tracks are separate links, sections, or whole track 3-D printed?
I think the tracks look like single links with track pins.
Based on the photo of the kit contents, I don’t believe the tracks are included. Heavy Hobby offers the tracks separately and they are indeed 3D printed individual links with separate track pins.
Ah ! OK it’s an Aftermarket set !
Thus I wonder if the basket will last for decades…
3D printing is simply printed resin, so I don’t see a reason why it wouldn’t last as long or longer then photoetch or other mediums.
Nothing last forever anyway.
The Italian Kits guy preferred to print his project and then cast quickly with resin. To avoid warp, etc… he said, before releasing his SPA TM40 tractor.
