I am making a pilgrimage to a real hobby store tomorrow…mayybe. You know how those things work out. I am on a paint run and I wanted to know what color IDF’s Mii3 interiors were. My reference said green. That is not as helpful as it could be. Time frame is 1976.

While everyone will chime in with their favorite shade of readymade interior green from the local Hobby Lobby, I still prefer mixing it. Plain old bottled Testors mixed with their Crayola green. Add a bit at a time until you get it where you want it. Then add a touch more white for dry brushing if that’s something you do.

My go-to has, and will always be Tamiya XF21 Sky. It’s a dead-ringer to the color Meng uses to mold the interior of the M2A3 BUSK Bradley and the M3A3 CFV.

As I only use Vallejo, my choice is Vallejo Air 71009 Duck Egg Green.
