For what it’s worth, I own a 1929 Chevrolet truck. The ZiS is based on an International, but same era and very similar design. The bench seat is very smooth, similar to other old vehicles I’ve driven.

Also, FYI the car roofs in those days were often wood framed with canvas skin. You can’t tell from looking at the outside; the canvas was thick and stretched very tight. But just in case you are tempted to paint any metal chipping along the cab roof, you might want to check that detail.

Once I put the foil on the seats I didn’t care for it but I was committed. That being said, blob looking seats look wrong to me.
