I know that this is too late to use a reference on this build, but here is a great blog article on Marine Pershings in Korea in 1950. Excellent background information.

Thanks for the info. There were two photos of the tank I modeled, along with the following caption:
“M26 number 33 was marked with three T-34 kill markings on the 440 cfm Rotoclone blower housing located on the front hull between the driver and co-driver hatches. It represents the Marines first success engagement where the once feared T-34 was defeated.”
It was interesting reading as well.

Yes I recognized the kill markings on your build from this blog article and from the Osprey Duel Series Book Pershing vs. T-34. Summer 1950 in the Pusan Perimeter.
I follow that blog as the author does some pretty thorough entries on subjects that are usually in my area of interest.

Where do you get all your accessories i am new to modeling and can’t find anything else other than tamiya. Also where do you find reference photos?
The internet is your friend. That’s where I find a lot of my reference photos. There are also books dedicated to specific vehicles, wars, battles, etc.. As to accessories, there are several sources. A company called Black Dog makes sets that are specific to a particular model. There is also Def.Models, as well as Legend, and Value Gear. Hope this helps.

Probably the best place to start is Scalemates. You can just browse the site, but also type what you’re looking for into the search field at the top right. For example, say you’re after bedrolls to put onto a tank you’re building:
When you get to the page for a specific kit, a little down the page will often be a “Marketplace” section with a list of online model shops that have the item in stock (and/or Scalemates members offering it second-hand). Like this:
Click on one of them and you’ll be taken to that site’s page about the kit.
