"Hold the rope" - Bergepanther - Pz.Kpfw. V Panther, Ausf. D - ICM 1/35

I was thinking of positioning them like this … with the ‘le.gl.Einheits-Pkw Kfz.4’ in the foreground and probably some other figures …

What do you think?

It’s looking very good so far. Loving the details on the bergepanther, especially. I also appreciate that you took the time to remove the AA armor on the Ausf. D. Did you have P.E. sets specifically designed for the ICM kits? The round meshes look larger than the round things they cover.

For whatever it’s worth, I think squeezing the le. gl. Einheits-Pkw on that base might look a little crowded.

:scream: … You’re right … the PE was designed for Dragon kit (I think…)

I was so focused on other details …
And now?
I have no idea how to cut them… maybe using a cutter…
Any suggestions?

Personally I wouldn’t bother. I don’t figure cutting the meshes to size would be a good idea, you’d lose the outer edge of the mesh. Maybe someone has made meshes specifically for the ICM model? That or don’t bother changing them, I’m sure most people won’t notice.

Ages ago when i built mine ICM Panther D, i made mesh myself - and i made tailored rings from a very thin styrene and cut mesh ti size underneath. it worked well. I have recently revisited my old Jagdpanther with similar approach

Now it is too late for such a rework, and honestly, i haven’t even noticed untill someone pointed. Even then i had to look very carefully…
relax!

I have placed the thanks and figures on the base, what do you think?

Obviously there are still a few details to be sorted out and added… Comments Always Welcome
