How Do You Deal with this Situation

I still have a couple kits I did in the 70’s and 80’s. If I tire of them, I file 13 them. If I don’t like a build and it doesn’t look reasonable to repair, I file 13 it and may build another when that fancy hits again. Some kits I don’t mind building again and some are just a one and done. Strange though, some kits I want to be perfect when done and if they are not to what I envisioned, away it goes to the round file. A just for fun build that doesn’t become stellar is OK and stays on the shelf. Go figure…

I have about 100 armor models in my collection. For about 20 yrs they were stored in bins. In that time, some were damaged. Coming back into the hobby, some models are no longer available, and those that are, cost about twice what I originally paid. I do have a plan to “update” a few kits. Meaning only painting, or removing old decals and replacing them with new ones, fixing damaged parts, or adding details that should have been added. No major reconstruction unless I find a conversion for something I really like, that kind of thing.

Or you can place them on the tank range and use them as targets. (Backyard BB gun practice).
