All hope is not lost for CCKW closed cab lovers…

Banjo axles  Could be “borrowed” for other trucks

If you take the cab and the axles for other projects, not much will be left…

Exhaust pipe and load bed?

I guess yes… But I didn"t find a picture of the naked chassis with the cargo bed still fitted

Did the other manufacturers, i.e. other than Chevrolet, also use banjo axles?
Maybe it would be possible to use the replaced axles, on the other hand maybe it’s better to get resin banjo axles since it would need two kits to get the three axles for a CCKW …

Just build a 6x4 CCW instead

Need to make a plain axle but that should be doable :slightly_smiling_face:

Here’s another 1:1 one :

Didn’t they have banjo axles as well or was that some other resin caster?

Banjo axles are included in their DUKW set (UM332) :

But there are other source(s) for them , like Shapeways

They had just the banjo axles as a set too, ready for any CCKW.

Just hope they have plans for a K70 radio van too!

I missed this one  it’s the set UM215

I will be keeping a eye on this

Was this version only a lend lease? And more importantly could ICM be convinced to do a MACK NO and make a lot of people very happy…

Answering my own question, it appears that about 1/2 of the production went to the russians. Now if Amazon would hurry up and deliver my book on Chevy trucks all will be well.
