Don’t forget to add spacers for the Blazer as they stood proud of the tanks leaving an inch or two depending on their position from the hull and turret
Thank you. My plan is to add the spacers such that they fit over little pins. That will allow me to add the armor blocks after painting in the same way I install road wheels.
This is just my opinion but I think you may be making life difficult for yourself by painting before you add the ERA blocks. I’ve done a few of these and have always mounted all the ERA blocks before painting. They’re so close to the turret sides that once mounted you can’t see under them at all, and normal overspray gets under the top and bottom of the blocks just fine. On the build I posted a pic of all the blocks are on 1 to 1.5 mm round spacers, actually slices of plastic rod stock, and after painting there’s no need for touch up.
Just my opinion, but it works for me.
