Thats looking great Bert. I would be tempted to leave it like that.
That’s the difference between your builds and mine, I like them dirty… ![]()

Looks fantastic, and not seen often in this condition ![]()
What a great build, and I agree with @bwilt that’s it’s nice to see this in a nice new condition. It shows it off perfectly, really nice.
Thank you all, I would have liked to have a polished metal-colored bulldozer blade. But I don’t know which product to use and it’s a technique that I don’t master. I decided to do a light weathering.
I might get another model for this campaign. I still have a Merkava MkIIB, a Takom, an M109, and a Tiran in stock.
If you are following the Operation Iron Swords thread there is a new pic with a whole row of nice shiny D9s ![]()
I’m in. I’ve been fascinated with how the Air Force came to exist. A remarkable story. I would like to build a collection of the aircraft used by the IAF and have started with the Hobby Craft 1/48 Avia S-199, the “Mule” as it was most commonly known. I’m adding the Aires cockpit to the build. I’ve got some of the cockpit installed and painted.
