Looking good. Is the rear wall and blank plate up top from Legend as well?
Nope, the back wall and the top plate are made of plastic cards (0,3mm), scratch built, couldn’t fine resin parts for that, so I made them myself, here a reference picture for the back plate
Haven’t found any photos of the rear wall on the IDF Humvees so I made this one
LOVE the handset with connector just chilling on the seat!!
Thanks! I’m planning on leaving the door opened with a figure leaning against the vehicle.
Here’s a pic of the idea for a small vignette
Welcome aboard, looks good. ![]()
Great idea. I’ll keep an eye on it. I started playing around with a scene like this a while back, but I think I should finish it if you motivate me. ![]()
Note that the M1165 IDF doesn’t have air conditioning grilles above the rear wheels. I combined two models—the Academy M1151 and the Bronco M1114—to achieve this effect.
That’s a good looking scene! Gotta ask you, where did you find the rear plate for the Humvee?? It looks 3D printed, am I wrong?
Overall, great looking diorama, you should definitely finish it
I asked the same question above, and his answer…
They do look great. There are a couple M1165 conversion sets, but none of the light armor version like above.
Liam on eBay.

There are also a couple by our own Ettore @galactica Galasso. The first is the standard armored wall.
He also has designed a different armored rear wall as part of an SF GMV conversion.
You can find his sets at 3DP Trains under Priamide Models.
I used his conversion sets when I built an SF M1165 GMV last year. M1165 GMV conversion build.
Welcome to the forum. Nice introduction. Looking forward to more.
So, if I wanted to get one of those, to replicate the IDF one I should buy this one?
This seems to be the most accurate one, right?
Looks right to me.
Just realised I can’t buy it, they don’t ship to Chile, I’ll make do with the one I made, thanks for the info anyways!
For some reasons I don’t know, 3Dptrain doesn’t include all the countries in their drop down menu even though they can ship everywhere.
If you want, I can ask them to add Chile to their shipping destination list.
@Tatawlad -My parts are made by Ettore Galasso. As for your model—keep in mind that the IDF versions have a different spare tire mount. Mounting a BFT monitor on the console is also a bad idea. These vehicles don’t have a BFT system.
That would be awesome! Are you really able to do that?
Damn, thanks for the info, I’ll take it into consideration for the build, thanks!!
I did it before for a modeller in another country, I believe I can do it also for your country.
I’m going to ask them and let you know.
Got some news! For those who were wondering why it says “M1114” on the title, it’s because I also got myself the Bronco’s M1114 with the Crows II, sadly the box arrived pretty damaged and the decals and PE parts are missing, but anyways, I’ll have get an aftermarket set, here some pics of the box and some references for what I’ll be building soon
