Imrie / Risley Miniatures Finished?

Just stumbled across this. I&R figures have been eclipsed by newer figures, but there are still a few out there worthy of having. I wonder if Covid got them, or the family is just giving up?

The Imrie Family

I thought they quit many years ago. IMHO the resin stuff is on average much better.

They were still selling about 6 years ago.

Most resin now - most metal figure companies of the era - is much better. Valiant Miniatures comes to mind. I&R made a few figures that are pretty good but most of them I like for nostalgia.

Then there’s Stadden. Forever heralded as the Rolls Royce of miniatures. They had great variety but were often more toylike than other offerings.

Thanks! I did not know of Stadden. Their OO and HO figures for the Victorian and Edwardian periods look great.
