The question for me should be the inspiration to buy or build. I am influenced by the builds I see. Some just make something in my head click and it goes into my ‘to buy’ list. The Tamiya Desertized Challenger build from a few months ago and a ZM F 4 II Phantom are good examples of that. Some are on the to buy list because I became interested during some of my readings such as the T 80.
The “to build” comes from browsing my stash and choosing something based on the subject or the scale of the build. I have long discovered the “to build” completions move slower than the acquisitions on the “to buy” list. I blame you people for that. If you only posted the crappy work I might be able to better balance the “to buy” and the “to build” lists.
