Iranian armor from Iran/Iraq War, 1980's

I agree Brian, I get enormous satisfaction from talking about our models with other modelers at shows. The medals are secondary for me….

…a Masterpiece, chapeau

Exactly; it’s horses for courses naturally and I wouldn’t disparage those who compete; I don’t because a) of the satisfaction I get from talking about it all, and b) I’m never quite sure if they’re good enough!

Nice. I’ve started some models from that conflict also. I have a captured T-54 and a Chieftain done for the Iranian side. Looking to add some things from the Iraqi side.

That BTR is great.

Thank you. Yes, I believe they are Hornet heads on Verlinden torsos.

Very nice and unusual subjects, well executed! :iran:
Really a joy to watch!

(We need a Thumbs up! smiley, indeed).

If somebody is interested in more recent footage of the Iranian Army I want to recommend The Arkenstone. Not, it’s not about Frodo, Gandalf and Sauron, but about the formations and equipment of the Artesh.
