Is tiger models still around accroding to scale mates they are supposed to be doing a UAE Lerclerc
It’s actually Tiger Model; Tiger Models was the original name of Tiger Model Designs. And yes, they are still around, releasing a T-90M 2023 sometime this month hopefully. They are very slow on releases, but they always seem to get them out at some point.

The LeClerc is still in the works, but it’s not come with any of the different upgrades that are different than the Tamiya kit. If it offered one of the different Batch versions then it would be A nice addition to the French Connection !! Now if you really in the mood for A LeClerc version and A challenge; Then try the SS model of the LeClerc that’s 3D Printed.

Scalemates shows both the Fresch version and the version used by the UAE and Jordan
For A change of pace; you could build the ARV version of the LeClerc it’s called the MARS. ! I BUILT 2 of them using the Tamiya kit. And if your into scratch building you could use the Tamiya kit for your UAE conversion.

I wanted a Tiger Model T90M. Could not get it in the US. They sold the export versions of the T90 in the US but not the M version. You had to order it from China as the US distributers didn’t carry it. So keep an eye out for availability in China if it does not show up in the US.
I think Hobby Japan is another without US distributership.

I had a discussion with an other member the other day about making an order and sharing the shipping coast. That’s when I was under the impression they were overseas. Turns out they ship within the US, so I’ll place my order myself.
