Shigehiro Yoshida and his stunning diorama JSU-152 Убийца зверей (The Beast Killer) on the way in going. The "Zveroboy", or "beast-killer", as it was popularly known in 1945, was certainly not intended as a tank hunter. But, at the end of the battle of Stalingrad (Operation Uranus), it was realized that, unlike the Germans, the Russian infantry lacked some mobile heavy artillery support.

Excellent job on this diorama. The vehicles, ground work and figures look great. I love the composition too with the wall and railing and wrecked panzer iv sitting below. Very nicely done.

Looking at the ISU -152 more closely shows some really nice texture and weathering on the surface of the beast. Excellent job.

That casting texture on the SU152 is amazing. Probably the best i’ve seen actually.

Love to know how it was done.
