Wow! That’s one fantastic looking machine. It’s so ugly - it’s beautiful. It definitely has steam punk look about it too. The finish is excellent as is the weathering.
Brach Model has released both versions of this vehicle in standard resin - the “first version” that was just released last year, and the “standard” version that is seen here, released over 10 years ago. Brach was one of the first to cast metal parts within resin pieces, in this case they used aluminum tube for the mortar barrels and cast them in the brackets.
From what I can see in the photos, the Brach kit appears to be the better option from a detail and accuracy standpoint.
These are 3D printed and prices are not too bad, for resin:
I have a lot of Brock models and they are really top notch. I have one of their other French halftracks similar to this one but without the rockets. An infantry version. One of the more recent Panzerwrecks shows a number of the including the one above, in German service and destroyed by the Americans in case someone like me who enjoys severely damaged and/or destroyed vehicles. This one of course is very much a welcome addition to the hobby. I often buy a resin kit and its plastic counterpart for various reasons. I agree that the weathering on this is fantastic! SoI am looking forward to purchasing one.
