KrAZ-214 Roden und seine Varianten

Today, the finished model is ready. This completes the KrAZ-255B TMM-3 project. During the model’s construction, it was important to me that all the functions for deploying and retracting the bridge could be depicted, just like the original. This means the vehicle must brace itself at the rear, the locking bars of the lifting frame on the vehicle frame are extended, the bridge is widened laterally, the lifting frame with the bridge is raised over 90 degrees, the bridge sections are unfolded using the winch, and when the entire bridge is lowered, the supports are deployed and adjusted to the appropriate height. All of this can be represented on the model. Furthermore, it is possible to completely and quickly remove the supports to show a vehicle without them (Vehicle 4). Now, let’s see the model in its transport position.

The story continues with the deployment of the bridge. The vehicle is standing on a TMM bridge, which was deployed by a model KrAZ-214. The original bridge set consisted of four vehicles, one of which had the bridge but no supports. The vehicle was supported, the bridge was widened, and the deployment process began. Here are the pictures.
