Quite bizarre Italian idea…

OK
we’ll go back to the initial photo.
I made some considerations based on what I see.
The “pins” that prevent the movement of the box according to me are structures that have probabilmebte a system of screw plates that allow you to adjust the height. There is no doubt that they are white. on the material…
While the rear pin rests directly on the body, the front, given the presence of the step, would seem to have a sort of table that moves the point of support.
I did a test and this is the result
Your criticism/suggestion…

Brilliant project Giorgio, I assume this idea looked good on paper for flat desert terrain. The stabilisers must have had some kind of adjustment mechanism to allow for uneven terrain but I’m not even sure what they are made of. I also can’t work out how the tower was erected/dismantled unless the soldiers were very tall acrobats?

Ciao
In anticipation of the Christmas binge, here is the baseplate with a primer. Then it will have to be lightened.
Any suggestions on tones/colours to use?
thanks

Brilliant work on this most unusual subject!

What Mike said, great work! (And must rate as one of the most fragile vignettes ever - do you have a spare perspex box to keep it safe in?)
