does anyone know of a kit of the Land Rover 101 FC Ambulance. there’s an abundance of them in 1/76 but the only 1 i could find in 1/35 was a 3D print that is no longer available.
I have a mate that was a medic and i’d like to build one for him
Colin, the only 1/35 version I’m aware of is the Firing Line GS version, and of course, Firing Line are no more since poor old David Parkins piled in recently. If if you could find one you’d then have to scratch the ambulance piece - probably not that difficult seeing it’s really just a box, but the problem would be finding a base kit in the first place. They might pop up on eBay on occasion.
As far as I know, no one has taken over the moulds.

Thanks Brian, i though that might be the case. looks like it’ll have to be the venerable Land Rover 7 from Tamiya if i can find one

Greetings …there is one available it’s a 3D print ..but the company /owner is a nightmare to deal with and from what I’ve seen the print format is very difficult….
So it’s either scratchbuild …one of my plans as I’ve 3 of the 101s stashed away or do smaller …
The Tamiya Ambulance is still a great model recently did a commission build …currently have 9 ambulance kits I tend to pick them up whenever I see them going at a reasonable price

There is a few on ebay, in case you want to go that way.
Some are in Japan, some in the US, a few in Europe.
Try different combinations of Tamiya, Land, Rover, 7, ambulance etc

i’ve managed to find a land rover 7 from a company called Plastic Model Republic.
not sure how legit they are though. they said they had them in stock but appear to be having issues getting one from their “Supplier”
i think i’ve seen that one on Cults, though it says scaled at 1/57 and appears pretty basic for a print
Sounds like scammer to me the land rovers have been oop for many years
