I love Lanmo 3d upgrade sets, they have yet to fail to impress. Good to see them get into plastics and great choice for their first kit (the Italeri is very long in the tooth). Lets just hope they keep the quality and improve their instructions (lots of lost in translation moments)

It will not be their first plastic kit though, the already announced 3 versions of the Soviet BA-64 aromored car.

That’s not quite correct either. They have already released a plastic kit - the Chinese M4A4 Sherman (35001). Granted, the plastic is from Dragon, but it is still Lanmo’s first plastic kit.

Given this, I do hope the BA-64 and AB-41 are not the Vision and Italeri kits with new parts and details like they’ve done with the Sherman. As an example, why would they include rubber tires in the BA-64 kits (as they’ve stated on their FB page) and AB-41 when they could obviously do them in 3D or resin? The Vision and Italeri kits have rubber tires…

From the cad drawings they are new, Both have interiors (The vision one had only partial, without having an engine) and the BA-64 for sure has some different parts as the engine hood for example is a separate piece and the wheels have the pattern from the Trumpeter Gaz jeep. They also announced the early BA-64 which as far as know was never kitted before.
What could be worrisome is that these are Trumpeter kits under a different name.
