Any more info on what and where for the StuG Christopher?

Hey there

Unfortunately not …… believed to be a Stug from the Sinsheim museum 1 hour south of Frankfurt.
Saw the transport 45mins from Frankfurt on the A5 heading East towards Bad Hersfeld.
Here the options are North to Munster or Kiel or East in the Dresden direction.
Although it was on a BW truck with Y- plates from the Tech. Erprobungsstelle 1 in Trier at the border to Luxemburg.
Seems the BW is somehow involved .,
Could be heading for an overhaul in Kiel …. Unlikely to be presented in Munster museum since they already have two Stugs.
Maybe to the museum in Dresden?
Or shipment to Bovington ?
I‘ll try to find out a little more and keep you posted.

Cheers
Christopher

To my knowledge, there were 3 or 4 variations of Dunkelgelb. The choise is yours.

Here you can view the Stug in Sinsheim:

The front arrangement / layout looks a little different … a plaque attached, right tool clamp further down … no killrings

Cheers
