That is very nice indeed; there’s something about the “plain vanilla” look of the original Leo 2 that appeals. I remember poring over the military press of the day, and we all wondered what the final ineration, ie that coming into service, would look like.
Ah the MENG kit! I have one in the stash - hope it comes out as nice! I prefer the early slab-sided turret rather than the later A5 onwards as it just looks like it means business.

Meng? meng? No no no no! It has to be Italeri for me!
Why? The revell/italeri is pretty cool old lady but not more “high the time”

Well, simply because it’s in the stash and I have a perverse nature, as well as a soft spot for these old kits, which in their day, were often ahead of the game.
I quite enjoy trying (and admittedly not always succeeding) in getting the best from them, often amidst failed efforts with plastic card, resin “extras” and whatever else is required/comes to hand. If I end up with something like 70% of how I envisaged a project, well, that’ll be good enough for me.

The Italeri Leo2 is not bad, but those skirts with the toolbox lids moulded on take some effort to put right. I’m not fussed about the engine screens being solid. My big gripe with most Italeri postwar German kits is the inability to count the TC’s periscopes!
Right for sure… but i think to buy in germany a italeri a4 you have to pay 35 bugs and a spare track and so one… you came to near 60,70,80 bugs (how ever you like to “pimp” it) then my choice is to take a Meng kit and you already have done.
I was thinking, “pay 35 bugs”? Does he mean correct 35 mistakes? Only then I realised that you mean bucks 
(Easier to just say “euros”, IMHO, as it avoids any confusion as to which money you mean )
Hahahaha, sorry my last english lessons are 25 years ago. So i mean “bucks” (euro) but if i think so - bugs for a littel bad mistake kit is right too.

I don’t know - the way things are going and with the possibility of insects becoming food, perhaps bartering with “bugs” is the future(!)
Now that is a nice Leopard. I don’t recall the Meng kit coming with no slip panels like that. Did you make them from something like wet/dry sandpaper? They’re very well done.
