And last on my list is TAKOM´s brandnew ASW helicopter cruiser Moskva class of the cold war. This ship fascinated me already long ago and it was no brainer to get this into my harbour once it will be released.

Something I learned while working developing training software for the US Navy’s TAO courses back in the late ‘70s/early’ 80s was that the Moskva was out of balance due to all the structure forward, and drew more water at the bow than at the stern. The Soviet fix? Repaint the boot line so it looked as if he was floating level.

The RN “adjusted” the waterlines on “Queen Elizabeth” and “Valiant” when they were partly flooded in Alexandria harbour after the Italian limpet mine attack.
