You might try Lou Drendel’s F-4 Phantom II USAF Versions. I don’t have this one yet myself.
There is always Osprey’s USAF F-4 Phantom MiG Killers 1965-68 and USAF F-4 Phantom II MiG Killers 1972-73.
There might be good reference photos at Replica in Scale.
