This is the Ryefield M1A1 in 1/35 scale.
This is a depiction of my tank D-66, while assigned as gunner to Delta Co. 3-64 Armor, from 1990-1992. 3-64 Armor was located in Schweinfurt Germany (Conn Barracks).
The kit is OOB except for scratch-built antennas, tarp that covers stowage, smoke launcher covers, and TAC sign located at the back of the bustle rack.
The weathering was done using a mix of MIG, Tamiya, powders, real soil, and other various oils and acrylics.
Thanks for looking.

Welcome aboard, nice looking tank. I was in 2/64 1981-82 when we first got the M1s. Great place!

Awesome, and thank you. I did a prior tour in 3-64 from 84-86 as well. I was in D Co on D-21 and D-55. Production number on D-21 was 088, XM-1.I miss those days.

Sharp looking build. Nicely weathered, worn and dusty but not beat to hell.

I originally had orders for 1-33 but got diverted to 3-64.
One of my best friends was a “Tusker” You model is almost a mirror image of photos he has shown me of his tank. Great job, and a tribute to a very distinguished regiment, the 64th Armor.
