An interesting new (relatively speaking) accessory started to appear on M1A2 SEPs. It’s the Mounted Assured Precision Navigation and Timing System (MAPS) - to avoid GPS getting jammed. Does anyone have detailed images of the TWMP? Mainly the location of the chains that help deploy the skirts.
Apparently, Australia is going to give 49 of their M1A1 tanks to Ukraine.

How do I reroute one of those to my house in Las Vegas? Think anyone would notice?
On this presidential election day in the US, I commemorate Dukakis looking goofy in an Abrams back in1988:

After doing a lot of digging around for my 3/4 M1150 build project. I discovered some nice images of the Pearson Engineering Dozer Blade used on the M1A1 FEP, as well as on the M1150.
Could have used those pics a few years ago! I used the blade from a Trumpeter Challenger 2, very heavily modified.
Great pics, thanks for posting
Wow, only 700 bucks ? Shipping must be steep though.
Just imagine this. That blade cost far more than $700 (in taxpayer funds); then re-sold as surplus for $700. The shipping would cost a couple thousand dollars via truck freight.

Yesterday, on December 15, 2024, Taiwan received the first 10 vehicles of an initial batch of the M1A2T Abrams Main Battle Tank.
The tanks which arrived to the port of Taipei yesterday morning, are part of a larger purchase order for 108 tanks, signed in 2019 between Republic of China (Taiwan) and the USA.
For those that haven’t gone to Ft. Moore yet… Here’s the M1A2 SEPv4 on display at the US Army Armor and Cavalry Museum…
