Thanks Frank … Thankfully being Recce I was able to do a fair bit of foot slogging with CTRs and the such… All good fun.
Really sorry to hear about your lad Brian, hope he is over it now. I know alot of guys who paid various prices over there.
Well John, at least we’ve still got him; we only had the second worst knock on the door. Funnily enough, I had just started the Chally when he got injured and that sort of put the damper on the whole project. I still feel strange about doing it some 8 years on. Of course, he lost his career, and he was a natural soldier and I believe could have gone far; but as I say, at least we’ve still got him.
