In addition to the pixilated camouflage seen on certain Bradleys in Ukraine, do these retain their original US Army paintwork, or are they repainted in locally sourced colours? Photos suggest the latter, but this could be due to differing light conditions.
The pixel camo vehicles are repainted in theatre using local colours. There was images of them being repainted that circulated on social media I am not able to track down.
Some have been seen retaining CARC tan, the one below is one operated by the 47th Mech brigade near Avdiivka
As stated above, it depends. Some Bradleys sent to Ukraine were repainted locally in a dark green paint, with some getting the pixilated camo on the sides. Others stayed in the US CARC Tan that they were delivered in.
One point of clarification though, no A3 versions have been sent to Ukraine. They are all M2A2 ODS-SA IFV, M3A2 ODS-SA CFV, and M7A2 ODS-SA BFIST versions.
A further question … when fitted with anti-drone cope cages, how does this affect the positioning of antennas? Are they simply allowed to pass through the overhead mesh screens?
