I like all of your work but what I like the most is the stand for the turret. This is the kind of detail which makes the difference.

The level of detail you and the others on this site do is simply awe inspiring. I glue pieces of plastic together but you guys are artisans of plastic.

I have been able to get to some bench time lately and have gotten along on the M3A3 CFV dio. So far, I have the Brad built, painted, and decaled. It still needs weathering, lights, the tracks, and a few other small details to be added.
I painted it overall with Rust-oleum Ivory Satin spray. It went down well and is a good base for modern CARC sand. I also used the kit’s 4ID decals on it.
The hull.
The engine cover parts.
Turret.
This is generally how the dio will look, with a couple mechanic figures having a coffee break and a bunch of tools and accessories around it. It will also be inside a small slice of maintenance bay in a motorpool.
Still more work to do, so more later.

Not much progress lately. I did print up and prepare a bunch of accessories to go in the motorpool bay with the Brad. All the gray items are 3D printed by me.
The work stand is reworked parts from a MiniArt Scaffolding set and a stand up toolbox from Black Ops Models. The green bench comes from the AFV Club US Army Workbench and Tool set (AF-35302).
Here are some more of the items. They include jack stands, floor jacks, battery operated power tools, socket sets, etc., etc…
I am working an a few mechanic figures and the dio base now. More pics soon.

I started building the dio base and scene. I built a frame for the wall out of I beam and C channel and used a piece of corrugated sheet for the outside sheathing.
I printed up a couple electrical boxes and added conduit out of thick styrene rod that will go on the inside of the wall.
I also have a few more accessories printed that I will add as well.
I’m off to the paint booth now to start spraying all the various parts.

I have managed to paint most of the pieces. I just have some detail painting and weathering and I can start assembling all the smaller diorama elements.

This will be the last update for a while as my kids and grandkids will all be here for the holidays and I will not be able to get to my bench.
