I always thought it looked quite impressive in Bundeswehr finish:
I always wondered why there were no other takers in NATO for the weapons system. This was of course, a pre-Gepard system.
From a modelling view, one could always display an M42 with the early Bundeswehr uniform - shown here:

Wonderful post! Love the Duster.
I saw the AFV Club M42 at a local hobby shop last week. I didn’t know if the price was good or not, but I think I’ll go back and snare it.
