Your model is becoming better and better. Just a little note: In your rear view picture, the taillights seem to be unpainted, plus the one on the right has an oval “glass” on top. Unless you work after a prototype photo with this detail, please remember that this (red) oval belongs to the light on the left, whereas on the right side, there are two slits, with the upper one narrower than the lower, and they are all dark, not red. Here’s what that arrangement looks like on my Ben Hur trailer:
Hi PzAufkl,
many thanks for your kind words and tips, I hope I remember in the end…lol,
I really think that so far the only thing that’s given me trouble are the two rear lights. No matter how many times I looked at the instructions, and even if I tried to snap them in tight, they just wouldn’t fit…in the end they just stayed there more or less…

UPDATE 07:
Hi Pals,
The latest update on the model: the turret is finished, following the same process as the hull, hence the lack of photos. Nothing particularly new or relevant to report, and the free hosting is almost over…
I did a bit of scratch-building with the gun’s searchlight, as I saw actual diagrams of it, and I added the cables it had in real life, since the kit does include the connections. I also added the cable that connects it to the turret.
It was a bit tricky getting the searchlight to stay in position, as the frame is very fragile and delicate, with quite a few tiny parts that make assembly very difficult, and the instructions aren’t very clear, at least in my case.
I dusted the rubber wheel rims to achieve the effect of them looking like rubber, and I dirtied the tracks more on the inside.
I added a chain, some duffel bags, and a couple of helmets from the spares to give it a bit of character, and a couple of antennas. Basically finished, except for some minor touch-ups or details that need fixing.
It’s good and well weathered.

Hi srrongarden,
many thanls for your reaction and kind comments, i’m glad you lke it.
I would really like to include a base, or small vignette, but I’m not very good at that, besides, my exhibition space is limited, and possibly (with a bit of luck), I’ll sell it.
Cheers

Hi Richard,
many thanks for your reaction and kind comments, i’m glad you like it.
I’m glad it inspires you to make one yourself. The same thing happened to me; I bought one at a discounted price, but it didn’t really catch my attention until I saw one online that was almost finished and it made me want one too…lol
