Magach 6B Gal w/ mine roller

Outstanding build Russ, a lot of parts from many donors, but a fantastic result ….. brilliant work :+1:

I think it already looks very nice, that front glacis looks great. And I can see some sand on the rollers, nice!

I have some weathering done, nearly finished I think….
In the pic below, the roller assemblies have not received the last dust coat that’s on the tank itself.

Another great project Russ with the usual lovely finish on it :+1:

It’s obvious you and I have a different idea about heavy worn and dirty

But it looks great, and probably for you worn and dirty, maybe I tend to overdo it for most people’s liking. The good thing is we all do it so it looks the way we want. :+1::+1:

I’m not done yet, but pics I’ve seen of modern-ish IDF stuff shows very little actual “wear” and next to no chipping, with maybe some missing skirts or bent fenders on in-action vehicles. What I have noticed on Magachs towards the end of their service life is evidence of several coats of paint.

And I still have to add liquids spills and stains….

Excellent work Russ.

Same as the T-34, I jammed to finish and take this to Winter-Blitz. I’m glad I did, it got a gold (1st in class). There’s a lesson for me here: just build it.

Thanks! This was a long-delayed project that just happened to go quickly. Maybe I should take a lesson here…..
