Magic Factory announces the official release of their new 1/35 M2A3 Bradley IFV scale model kit.
Not sure how this is much of an upgrade or different version than their original M2A3/M2A4/Bradley M-SHORAD kit (kit # 2004). That one could also be built as an M2A3.
I guess it has the extra sprue from their M7A3 kit for the MAPS (Modular Active Protection Systems) components and broadband communication antennas, and new decals. Everything else looks the same as their earlier parts.
M7A3 sprue.
I am surprised they have not come out with an M3A3/M3A4 kit as they have all the parts to do so with the parts in the M7A3 kit and their M2A4 kits. Or an M7A4 for that matter.
According to the text,
This upgraded version includes accurate T161 double-pin tracks, MAPS (Modular Active Protection Systems) components, and broadband communication antennas.
Yes, I read that. Like I said, the MAPS and antennas are in their M7A3 kit. We’ll see what the “accurate T-161 double-pin tracks” means. The earlier kits come with T-161 tracks, but they had solid center guides, while they should be open. We’ll see if they correted them.
If they didn’t correct the other major deficiencies in the kit, there’s little point bothering with it.
I’m guessing still no shell ejection groove in the barrel shroud?
That’s one of many.
Nothing has. A major disappointment. But there may be news for Bradleys fans!
Correct, they are the same. I understood from the text that they had been updated, but it is just that the kit “includes accurate T161 double-pin tracks”
I am not blaming you for anything. I saw the text from Magic Factory’s ad and hoped they had done some updating. Apparently not.
Other than the newer track, a giant leap backwards. And we can get the track from Jacques.
This kit, or for the same money, a better kit with an interior? ![]()
