How do they assemble? Are they workable?

No, they are solid, link-and-length tracks. Which is fine for me as I think the “workable” part is an unnecessary gimmick.

another thing i cant figure out whats with the obsession on movable suspension 99.9% of us puts the finished model on the shelf

I’m not sure that’s why “workable” is an unnecssary gimmick. Some people use it other ways.

The same reason for the “workable” track. If putting them on an uneven diorama base, it allows you to articulate the suspension over the terrain.

And to continue the discussion as they say, there’s a video out (it may be the one I linked to) that shows that even though these are “link and length” tracks they are quite flexible and will conform to terrain, so if that was the reason for the original question, you may be able to alter your supsension somewhat to get it to conform to slight undulationsin terrain.

The pattern that we’re used to seeing has changed - need to add more beads of putty or CA now. That looks better than when they try to replicate it with PE in any case

Looking forward to it. I know what you mean about bench time. Between women, guns and bikes, something’s gatta give.

Mine first one is at least in the country now. Unfortunately I won’t be within 1.000 miles of it when it arrives.

In looking at photos I have noticed another “issue” with it. Some may neither notice nor care. Hope to do a full report when I return from my trip.

Indeed. I’ve used CA on other kits. But if I have to add new ones it may need a substrate of some sort - maybe a piece of foil. Can;t figure out the reasoning behind the new pattern.
