Can anyone identify this marking on the Ferret Mk.2/6 Vigilant?

Bloody hell Paul - give us a fighting chance! It could be anything.
In theory, if a UK based vehicle, it could just be the Home Forces Royal (Home Forces is the outdated term - what I’m referring to is UK-based units/establishments, but at this late hour I can’t remember what the correct name is) cypher on a red over blue square, but it is so indistinct, and the colour contrast - ie the 2 portions of the emblem don’t appear to be there. This is the one - or variations thereof - I mean:
However, I just wonder if it’s a vehicle from 24 Airportable Brigade:
It would tie-in with the vintage of the Ferret, and Vigilant. 24 Bde was one of the constituent formations of 3 Div, which back then had the Strategic Command role - ie airportability, and a Vigilant-armed Ferret would meet the requirements of such a role. However, this is supposition - unless a better image turns up; I think the dates just about fit, I haven’t checked.
