Reminds me I still have the original release in the stash, with a Krupp Protze and field gun for cargo! Not sure I’ll ever build it…
About two years ago I’ve found out, that those babies were stationed in 1944 on the small airfield, not far from where I used to spend my summer vacations. On the same field, where I made my first parachute jump! One of them even crashed in the area, an I have been on the crash site - nothing to be seen now, but our guide told us children used to find aluminium shards there for decades.

I’m excited about this! I had the original release when I was younger, but it got lost, over the many moves I’ve made. I’ve looked on eBay for the kit, but the ones I’ve seen are priced at $100 or more, depending on condition. Since then, it’s been on my most wanted list. To have Italeri rerelease the kit, with new box art, is something like a dream come true. I’m going to be watching for a release date: can anyone give me an idea when that will be?
