Nice to have anything that gets painted yellow molded in white . Waiting in my stash is the Revell 1/48 Stearman released a few years back and it is molded in white which is a plus as the Army version has yellow wings and the Navy version is all yellow.
Oh for sure! I’ve made the mistake of priming in gray where the final paint color is yellow, and even THAT was a big mistake…I can’t tell you how many coats of yellow over gray primer it took to get an acceptable yellow color. Now, I ALWAYS prime in white where the final paint color will be yellow.
