Appreciated Matt, cheers. Yeah, its a complex little build in itself, but now I have finished it off, it was worth it.
Great to have you here DV
On IDF vehicles the chains are usually painted the same color as the vehicle.
Great job on the mine rollers.
Olivier
Thanks Olivier much appreciated …
Have finished the Nochri-Kal mine roller and got it all together… Looks nice and pretty hayhow it turned out. Just need to fit it to the Merk after I’ve given it a bit of base weathering…
Altogether, just for the mine roller, it has just under 160 individual parts…
That roller would not look out of place attached to a Gundam.
That is one fabulous looking piece of work…
Cheers Bert … yours on the Namer is pretty cool looking though as well …
That looks great.
Knocking this one out of the park mate.
Cheers buddy. Considering it’s OOB, it’s a really nice kit. Apart from the anti slip and some cable for the MG and droid it builds up well with no real issues. Only thing I couldn’t manage was to do the roller legs in the fully up position for travel. I think it would of required to much surgery butido like how the roller looks and glad I bothered to do it.
I’ll post photos of how to have the legs raised up tonight. It’s easy to do with the kit parts. They just so not tell you in the instructions for some strange reason.
Thought I would make an attempt to mix up my own pigments for it … I used 30% European earth, 30% sand,15% brick dust. 15% industrial city dirt and 10%concrete dust …
And the concoction…
Tried to scratch the mounts for 1 camp bed that goes on the rear hull bins.
Just spare PE bits that were close the shapes needed then recut …
Not perfect, but close enough for me
