Hi, just bought my first pack of Milliput Standard and was wondering if the darker of the 2 parts should be noticeably much much harder than the other one? I couldn’t get them mixed properly at all…mind you, my bench is in my garage and it’s pretty cold atm. Maybe I need to leave it somewhere warmer for a while? Many thanks.
Yes that’s how it usually is.
The warmer it gets through kneading, the softer it will become. Really useful stuff to have around. We found a tiny pinprick hole in the bottom of the kitchen sink a few months after we moved in and a lump of milliput worked to plug it (still need to buy a new sink, but we’ve had other jobs and expenses to do). 5 years on it’s still working!
